Our technologies were invented by Dr. Stephen Eckel, a prominent researcher and Associate Dean and Associate Professor at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

Stephen has years of experience in pharmacy administration at UNC Hospitals and researching the best IV safety technologies.

Innovation

At UNC Medical Center’s cancer pharmacy, Stephen saw a unique opportunity to revolutionize medication dosing preparation.

He noticed that there was a discrepancy in the dosages prescribed by physicians and the final doses prepared by the pharmacy. This inspired him to develop new technologies that could accurately measure medications and enhance patient well-being.
